Membership Rates of the Association

Active

Membership for those who must be European residents and either hold a university degree in dance history research, or equivalent qualification, or show published evidence of genuine dance histroy scholarship.

Associate

Membership for those who do not hold the appropriate qualifications for Active membership. Associate members shall be entitled to attend all meetings and events, but shall have no voting rights. They will receive one copy of all publications.

Joint

Membership is available to two persons resident at the same address. Joint members shall be entitled to attend all meetings and events and receive one copy of all publications. Where one or both shall qualify as an active member, one of them, who shall be named beforehand to the Secretary, shall be entitled to one vote at all General Meetings.

Membership shall be available to full or part time students who shall hold the same entitlements as Associate members.

Membership shall be entitled to send two delegates to all meetings and events, one of whom, who shall be named to the Secretary beforehand, shall entitled to vote. The Corporate member shall receive one copy of all publications.

Honorary Life

Membership shall be awarded at the discretion of the Committee and with the approval of the membershio at the Annual General Meeting to persons who have made a major contribution to the advancement of dance history research. Honorary life members shall enjoy the same entitlements as Active members
